Gareth Bull Author Bio

About the Author

Gareth Bull is a British author whose work celebrates curiosity, creativity and teamwork. His forthcoming book, When Reindeer School Saved Christmas, was inspired by his two young granddaughters, who also take centre stage as the story’s heroes. Their boundless imagination and endless “what if?” questions have sparked this heartwarming festive adventure about resilience, teamwork and the power of believing in yourself.

Although Gareth’s career has been rooted in manufacturing - rising from apprentice to boardroom leader, storytelling has always been in the back of his mind. Now, it has become a true passion. As Managing Director of Innovate Business Consulting, he helps UK manufacturers embrace AI-driven automation and modular design, but he sees a strong parallel between business innovation and children's storytelling. Just like in industry, young minds flourish when encouraged to ask questions, solve problems and explore new ideas.

A former Royal Engineer in the British Army, Gareth now chairs SSAFA’s (Soldiers', Sailors' & Airmen's Families Association) Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Rutland branch, supporting armed forces personnel, veterans and their families. When he’s not advising manufacturers or championing military causes, he’s hunting for new music, practicing for his next piano grade exam or crafting bedtime tales inspired by his granddaughters' latest adventures. For Gareth, whether in business or children's books, the best ideas always begin with a spark of curiosity.
